Fly Contract Assignments With Stratum Gauge

Stratum Gauge runs thermal and RGB drone data capture for industrial facilities, with our operating base in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and assignments across Texas as our multi-site client work grows. We are building a roster of independent Part 107 pilots for per-assignment work as our contract base grows.

What the work looks like

  • Independent contractor assignments (1099). You invoice per completed flight.
  • Structured data capture missions flown to Stratum Gauge SOPs and flight plans.
  • Thermal and RGB capture over roofs, mechanical equipment, and building envelopes at industrial and commercial sites.
  • You capture the data. Anomaly detection, analysis, and client reporting are handled in-house by Stratum Gauge.
  • You accept or decline each assignment. No minimum commitment, no exclusivity.

What we look for

  • Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
  • Based in Texas, with reliable access to at least one major metro. Most assignments are in Dallas–Fort Worth; Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and the I-35 corridor are added as client sites expand.
  • Comfortable operating on active industrial sites and completing facility-specific safety briefings.
  • Experience with radiometric thermal payloads is a plus, not a requirement.
  • Own aircraft and liability coverage is a plus, not a requirement.
